What 2019 has for Bikers!!!

The year 2019 is going to be packed with great ecstasy and excitement for all bike enthusiasts and biker teams. If you are having the passion of possessing the best mo-bike in your circle or just like to unleash the riding spirit in you, bikes with great hunky and heavy dynamics are going to catalyse your intention this year.

For all Royal Enfield fans, Royal Enfield Scrambler is getting loaded to meet your expectations of riding gravity and elegance. With an estimated price of around Rs. 1.89 lakhs to Rs. 2.01 lakhs, the Scrambler is going to launch very soon. Although not declared officially, yet you can expect it to be launched within April 2019.

The Royal Enfield Scrambler will be based on the Bullet 350 and Bullet 500, respectively. Mechanically, both bikes will be identical to the Bullet 350 and the Bullet 500. The 346cc and 499cc single-cylinder, air-cooled engines produce 19.8PS and 28PS of power, respectively. We also expect Royal Enfield to launch both bikes with dual-channel ABS as standard. The most important feature is that only two screws are needed to be replaced to add or remove the pillion seat.

The year is also going to be rocked by Honda as it is all set to launch its Honda CB300R within March 2019. The company has already started accepting the bookings of the CB300R for a token amount of Rs 5,000 across Wing World dealerships in India. The company says it’ll price the neo-sports cafe racer below the Rs 2.5 lakh (ex-showroom) mark.

In terms of design, the CB300R borrows many of its ‘Neo Sports Cafe’ look from its older sibling, the CB1000R, which was recently launched in India. Powering it is a 286cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder motor derived from the existing CBR300R. It makes 30.9PS of power at 5500rpm and 27Nm of torque at 7500rpm. The engine comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox. Being a scaled down model version of the CB1000R, the CB300R boasts of a huge array of features. This includes an all-digital LCD instrument console, full LED lights, dual-channel ABS and a hydraulic clutch.

Based on a tubular steel frame, suspension duties are handled by 41mm USD forks at the front and a monoshock unit at the rear. Single 296mm disc with a Nissin radial calliper at the front and a 220mm single disc at the rear handle braking duties. Expect dual-channel ABS to be offered as standard. Honda is expected to launch the motorcycle by March. If priced below Rs 2.5 lakh, it will compete against the BMW G 310 R, KTM 390 Duke and the Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 (as far as the prices are concerned).
