MAHINDRA XUV300
With the increase in the demand of sub-compact SUVs in India, Mahindra has set its mind to fulfil all the requirements of its customers by launching XUV300 in February 2019. The SsangYong Tivoli based XUV300 will be available in four variants to give a tough competition to cars of the same segment.
The leading automobile manufacturer has announced that it is going to launch XUV300 in both petrol and diesel versions. The sub-compact XUV300 will be hauled by a 1.2-L turbocharged petrol engine while 1.5-L Marazzo MPV diesel engine will drive the diesel versions. The price of all the models will be varying within a range of Rs. 7.5 lakh to Rs. 11 lakh.
HONDA NEW CIVIC
For the first time in India, Honda is going to launch its Diesel variant of Civic sedan class in 2019. It will also be available in its petrol version, but yet, the car owners giving priority to fuel price has a better option to go for the diesel one. Specifications of the Honda New Civic are as follows –
The global sedan has all-black cabin, while the India-spec model could receive a dual-tone (Black and Beige) interior scheme. It has the clutter-free dashboard with minimal buttons. The sedan gets a new 7.0-inch touch screen infotainment system, which supports Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and satellite navigation. Besides, the sedan has automatic climate control, multi-functional steering wheel, rear AC vents, electrically adjustable drivers’ seat, leather seats, etc.
The 2019 Civic is equipped with Honda’s Sensing suite of safety features, which comprises of a collision warning and mitigation system with automatic braking, adaptive cruise control and lane departure warning. Standard safety features will include dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, rear view camera, adaptive cruise control, etc. The top-end model will be exclusively offered with six airbags, vehicle stability control, hill start assist and tyre deflation warning system.
TATA 45X
All set to be launched at the mid of the year, 45X is one of the most stylish designs TATA Motors has manufactured till date. It is a hatchback model and one of the greatest evidence that the leading Indian carmaker has gained a modern marquee in design. Tata 45X premium hatchback will be one of the company’s first cars to be based on the new-generation IMPACT Design 2.0 philosophy. It will also be Tata’s first car to underpin new AMP (Advanced Modular Platform). Interior and engine details of the hatchback are yet to be revealed by the carmaker. The model will be available in both petrol and diesel engines. It is estimated to be priced between Rs. 5 lakh to Rs. 8 lakh.
Dimensionally, the Tata 45X premium hatchback concept measures 4,253mm in length, 1,850mm in width and 1,451mm in height with a wheelbase of 2,630mm. The hatchback’s concept was assembled with 235/35 Z R20 front and rear tyres. However, it might be different from the concept. The tapered roofline, plastic cladding around the body and pronounced wheel arches add more its sporty side appearance. The rear profile of the hatch will also look sporty with features such as full LED taillights, surfboard mounted wing cameras and a sporty spoiler. The tail-lamp assembly might look different from the concept.
More than 30 cars are expected to be launched in 2019 in Indian market, from leading car manufacturers like Ford, BMW, Renault, Nissan, Jeep, Hyundai and Mercedes. All we can do is to hold on and wait for the time of the commercial launch.
